(...) if you really wanted to get ambitious.. couldn't you use the phillips cd audio burner and connect that directly up to the TT? then at least you'd rid yourself of the analog->digital being directly into the computer... may result in better (...) Has anyone transferred their LP's to MP3 or CD audio? I'm just getting started, and I'd appreciate any hints, tips or warnings! Hmm. I'm running 2.2.12, mount says that ntfs isn't supported. I assume that the write support will no longer by experiemental in the upcomming 2.4 kernel, but until then make sure you can recover from a trashed partition. Anyone found/seen a good driver that'll allow my dual-boot Linux system to access the NTFS volume? Read-only's ok, though of course I'd prefer r/w. Just add accounts (Tools|Accounts, Add, Mail). They'll all show up in your Inbox folder and all outgoing mail will be "from" one account though, I believe. To get even fancier, see OE's "Identies" which allows multiple people to use their own set of (...) (25 years ago, 31-Jan-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

Hi Larry! Do you use Outlook or Outlook Express for your mail client? If so, how about signing up with NetZero and setting an account up for her there? You don't have to use the dialup after you sign up and it gives you a POP3 account that you could (...) (25 years ago, 31-Jan-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)
