(...) I'm not sure, can't remeber, i'll ask my dad... He doesn't remember eather, i'll see if some one here knows. Josh (24 years ago, 3-Mar-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

(...) Did not see them yet but thanks for the link!, I haven't been up to Houghton in the winter in years and years...   Re: TeenLTC?

(...) Hey, Lar, you get to see this years statues? On of the fraterinies got kicked out for selling alcohol to minors and having noisy partries. Guess that kinda relates. They might still have pictures on the site ( (URL) ), and if not, I know the (...) (24 years ago, 3-Mar-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: TLG and "Seeding"

(...) I'm guessing you turn 38 tomorrow (based on when you got your first degree from RPI). As for the quote I don't have a clue what you are talking about. If the quote stood alone I would think it was a Bushism! Happy Birthday, Maggie C. (24 years ago, 3-Mar-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: LA vs Seattle (Was:Re: Earthquake!)

(...) I think Seattle's contribution to the country is more along the lines of Starbucks Coffee and grunge music. I don't know of any slang from these parts. :^) ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (24 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: subway info?

(...) True. I generally tend to think of it as ending there. I used to hate that next rotrary though. My summer job after graduating high school was at an office above the Fresh Pond shopping center, and you had to use that rotary to u-turn, problem (...)   Re: subway info?

(...) Without a lot of warning or signs to help you find your way when it changes direction at traffic lights and such, which it does a fair bit IIRC.   Re: subway info?

(...) There's still a rotary near there, it's over the bridge and past the Fresh Pond stuff. Route 2 doesn't end there, though, it goes all the way in to Cambridge. Always has, as far as I know. It just ceases to be a highway-type thing there, and (...) (24 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

(...) Psshh. Boone's Farm, Mad Dog, Nighttrain, Thunderbird... I drank 'em all. So it can't date you *that* much. eric (24 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: subway info?

(...) Those are easy, all it takes is some combination of faster reflexes and/or a bigger engine. I'm referring to the kind where you are in essentially stopped traffic and you get to a point where someone will have to give. I'm a big fan of (...) (24 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: subway info?

(...) Oh, I've probably done it a few more times, but you have to realize that the vast bulk of my driving experience these days is not in Boston... (...) I always point out to non-Boston drivers that Boston driving shouldn't be characterized as (...) (24 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: subway info?

I'm so glad I live here in Northern California where driving is of two types: 1) Parked on US 101. 2) Racing madly through San Francisco, down 1 way streets (usually the worng way) searching for the last parking spot in the city. Never mind the (...) (24 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: subway info?

(...) You only did that once? Wimp :-) Besides there is a reason we drive like we do here. If you didn't drive that way you would never get anywhere. Many turns in the city are blind and in the suburbs there is so much traffic that if you don't (...) (24 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

(...) So's Rainman... what's your point? :-) I dunno if it's actually true though. I haven't met a Boston driver I couldn't beat through a squeezedown (think the merges on old I 93 coming into downtown, or the merge shuffle to get to the callahan (...)
