You only did that once? Wimp :-)
Besides there is a reason we drive like we do here. If you didn't drive that
way you would never get anywhere. Many turns in the city are blind and in the
suburbs there is so much traffic that if you don't block a lane or 2 of traffic
when making left turns you can litterally sit for hours durring rush hour.
Actually there is a good statistic. Massachusetts drivers rank #1 with the
fewest deaths per 100 miles driven of all the 50 states. It seems
contradictory until you realize that 1. usually traffic is bad enough that you
can't go fast enough to hurt yourself if you are in an accident and 2. we have
more Hospitals per-capita than just about anywhere else in the world never mind
the U.S. so they can patch us up quick and get us back out on the roads.

| I'm so glad I live here in Northern California where driving is of two types: 1) Parked on US 101. 2) Racing madly through San Francisco, down 1 way streets (usually the worng way) searching for the last parking spot in the city.
