It's not "try & error" - it's "trial and error" - but I can understand what
you're trying to say. ;-)
Also, there have been some questions about the validity of the '&'
(Ampersand, I believe it's called.) character as a substitute or shorthand
form for 'and'. YMMV, and I think there is still a lot of debate about
where usage is actually considered correct, etc.
