Great Job. Really, really great model.

Thanks!

( I hope you can make anything of it)
I'm not sure, if those special steering parts from 8440 / 8445 /
8858 fit into the ModelTeam rims, I don't have any. You would have to
turn the rims inside out, but (as said by others) that would come even
closer to the original Diablo.

Unfortunately, I have none of those sets, so I can't even test whether that
would work.  LEGO steering parts tend to be quite large, which does make the
"turning in place" really hard to implement.  I doubt any steering parts
could fit inside the wheels I used and still allow the wheels to rotate.
Another problem with turning the wheels around is that then they will no
longer appear low profile.

The other little thing are the Headlights. When trying to build a
sportscar, I allways disliked those slope-pieces as headlights, I
think they make the car look kinda dumb. Maybe you want to give this
a try:

Nice drawings!  I like the look of the windsheilds like that.  The only
problem with your solution is that there's no room to implement it while
retaining the working headlights.  The parts you placed interfere with the
wires for the headlights, the lights themselves, and the wheel well area.
Do you dislike the slopes because of the texture?  or because they are
steeper than the rest of the car?  I specifically used these slopes because
the headlights are steeper than the body on the real car:

might have gone with a windshield solution.

Anyway, its still a terrific / gorgeous / awesome? Diablo, that
you bricked together.

Thanks again.

and give us some more of this great models!

Classes have started again, but I'll try to build some more stuff once I
have my new website complete.  The Diablo is already up:

as are a bunch of other "Land" models:

Please LMKWYT of the layout/design, and any other comments on the Diablo.

Whoah! Great Job. Really, really great model. I like the overall shape, I like the body detail, (especially those sloped things like the air-intake look cool), those obscurely hinged doors are cool, too, and to put such a detailed interior into the (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jan-01, to lugnet.build)
