Hi Bram,

Thanks for sharing pictures of that coooool model!!! It really looks fast, does
the LEGO motor realize what the car looks like ;-) ??

Your car reminds me of a Ferrari model a friend and I build something like 15
years ago. We used the alternate model out of set 8848. But, what a shame, I
have no old pictures of that model ;-((

The hardest part to solve with LEGO bricks is still the aera around the front
steerable wheel. You decided to build it inwards a bit (1 stud??). I
always tried to build the wheelhouse als wide as possible. But I think both
variations doesn't look like a real car, even sports cars, where just a few
milimetres gap is between the wheel and the wheelhouse. But I would say this
conflict between a good looking stand alone model and a fully functional model
out of LEGO bricks couldn't be solved reasonable. Your way is something like as
close to the best as possible!!!

I will be surprised what you will brick next???

Regards,

Holger ..from Germany

I believe my LEGO Diablo phase has come to an end...I think I have finally succeeded in creating a likeness (but that's for you to decide). Modeled after the latest Diablo, my LEGO rendition is fully motorized (with a geared motor and a micromotor (...)
