It does roll around pretty well, but not quite at Lamborghini speeds :)

Yep, that is always the hardest part.

I have usually tried to make the wheel fit by making the wheelwell wider, as
you say. However, that doesn't look right to me. On real cars the fender
usually does protrude a bit farther than the wheel, so I'm rather pleased
with the way it turned out. I also like that I was able to make the area
directly above the front wheel so thin.

Not a Diablo :) I might try some aircraft...or maybe if I can't think of
something else to build and get even sicker of sorting, I'll update my
