Yes. If you notice in the shots of the engine, there are two spots for
wires to attach. The two wires go to a controller like this one:

which in turn is attached to an RCX with a power adapter plugged into the
wall. For greater portability, this could of course be attached to a
battery pack instead.

Conveying the curves of the McLaren F1 would be quite a challenge! The
Diablo has reasonably flat surfaces, making it a bit easier to model. But
if I can find enough pictures (front, side, and rear pictures are much more
useful than the standard 3/4 views), I might give it a shot. I'll probably
try something different first though.
