BTW, how was the trip to Cedar Point?

Average. It was cold and windy so that was a plus. (no flies, not too
hot and sweaty, and shorter lines)

I won't do a whole TR ala rec.roller.coaster but..

General: a LOT of broken seats. Since most of the day I was with 2
friends that interfered with trying to stay together in line.

Magnum: Still great, it was my first and last ride, front car both
times. Gotta love that stop limit up airtime. My fave steelie in the
world.

Blue streak: Was down just before I got there, so no line, walkon for
the front seat. A lot of the structure needs paint. Still a good woodie.

Raptor: Heard that Dueling Dragons is better, but this one still kicks
butt. Front car line is long but worth it. Horsecollar restraints are
showing signs of wear.

Power Tower: just more of the same if you've done one of those before.
Yes it's taller but overall kind of yawny, for me, anyway.

Draggin Iron: Slower than ever! I can't believe how much it rattled, I
thought parts were going to fall off or something. PKI topgun is so much
better.

Mantis: Paint is fading. Showing its age. Seems slower than I recall
making for lost change and such on the inverted parts.

Mine Train: Always fun. A true classic and always worth riding

Mean streak: Somebody needs to do something about that coaster. It needs
oiling in a major way, as well as some tightening and adjustments. This
used to be a top 10 woody for me, with my complaint the roughness, but I
could ride it 5 times in a row. Now it hunts, shakes, vibrates,
screeches and squeals so badly it is no longer a pleasant ride, even
once. My jaw is still sore from clenching so I didn't bite my tongue.
Too bad it wasn't raining. I hear that's about the only time it's smooth
any more. What a shame. This could be a great coaster again if they'd
only do something.

Gemini: Only running one side, yawn. Still a fun ride even after all
these years.

Didn't ride the mouse or disaster transport, out of time. Corkscrew was
closed.

All in all an average day, worth the time and effort.
