You know, just about when I get calloused enough to your idiocy, you
blindside me with yet another anti-American view that is beyond reason.

What is beyond reason is drawing conclusions when you aren't anywhere near in
command of all of the facts.

What is beyond reason is blindly believing a government that refuses to
divulge details of the confinements.

We provide plenty of details.  It's just you'd rather believe detainees lying
from a playbook rather than your government.  Again I give the standard "we
aren't perfect", but we do a good job; better than any other.

and deny basic freedoms to many,

Wrong again.

Gay Marriage?  Go ahead, tell me you support it.  If you do, then you've been
lying for a long time.

You are changing the subject.  Marriage isn't a "basic freedom".  Unless you
read the Constitution differently than I.

The basic freedom of being with your spouse in the hospital.  Maybe not
consitutional, but I would consider this a basic freedom.

their morals don't meet up to Mr. High And Mighty.

That's what you'd like to believe, I know.  I thought the Left was all about
"nuances".  You seem to like black and white a lot...

Gay Marriage.

Relevant.

Thanks for actually admitting it.

No evidence is forthcoming because the machines deny such evidence, or the
gubmint won't release it.  How convenient for your hawks.

No, how convenient for conspiracy theorists.  It would never occur to you that
some people may actually be honest and tell the truth.  Perhaps because that
isn't the way of the Left?

Very funny.  The Right is much better at hounding people for the truth, and you know
it.  But when asked for the truth, the Right is also much better about clamming up.

Until we spend ourselves into Third World poverty, and lose all our freedoms
in the meantime?  No thanks.

I'll take my idea if liberty over your dark scary one.

Part of defending liberty is recognizing the threats to it.  On that we
disagree.

Oh, I recognize the threats.  I just disagree with you on which threats are bigger.
Bush is a definitely a bigger threat to my freedom than SH was.
