I’m heading to DC to wipe by
backside with the flag in public view, or else I’ll shred the flag to
confetti and scatter it over a pig sty, or maybe I’ll drape it from my bumper
and drive cross-country.
It is ridiculous that a nation purporting to cherish freedom of expression
should choose to restrict that freedom in such a pointedly ironic fashion.
The symbol is not the nation, and I will not be told what to worship.
