Any place you can golf all winter long doesn’t have one. Now, if we were talking home, then yep, I can understand the reluctance. Even when there isn’t 6’ of snow in Jan, the -20C days are a tad chilly. But, the climate here is atually quite nice. I think it went under 0C for a few days this past winter, but not very far under. No snow to speak of (and I live further out from Victoria, where we do occasionally get real snow).

Its not quite SoCal, but the surfers at Jordan River don’t seem to notice that they shouldn’t be surfing in Jan or some stupid thing like that...
