Sorry everyone about messing up my first post to lugnet.
I have been lurking rtl and here for about 6 months, culling each resource
for information, to determine the answers to those questions. Although I have
been an avid collector for over 25 years, I am new to the net and the on-line
auction thing. Many of these frequently asked questions are important to me.
If I could answer half of them, I could probably make a living
buying/selling/building.
I also dream of a day when I finally purchase a large 20lb+ lot from e-bay
that actually contains 100% LEGO. In addition to the questions, I would love a
quiz/questionnaie I can administer to sellers to make sure they 1. know what
they are selling, and 2.
determine if they are trying to scam me.
In short I guess I would love a lugnet information and appraisal group that I
could consult- kinda like a Lego guru or corporate counselor that keeps me from
spending too much.
