I'm thinking seriously about doing the same thing myself. It's just not
worth the hassle on my end for such small orders. And resending things out
of my inventory is not a good way to go.
Of course, options other then priority would still be available for large
orders (I've sent out some pretty large ones UPS) and for International
orders of course.
Perhaps when I finally write up the shipping terms for my store, i'll list
First Class as "at risk", much like sending cash through the mail.
