Re: Lego Buckets on Sale for $2.00 at E-Toys (back in stock, for now) —Jennifer L. Boger
I got 6 of mine today, but of the 15 i ordered, i was told that only 11 shipped... i've so far been charged the full $20 shipping, and i've still got a few yet to be sent... I hope i don't get charged any additional shipping. fyi, my first 6 arrived (...) (24 years ago, 25-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Shipping comments (wasRe: Lego Buckets on Sale for $2.00 ...) —Julie Krenz
I can't believe they are sending these out one per box!!Well, at least I'll have plenty of boxes to ship out brickbay(1) parts in :-) What kind of packing material are they sending? Popcorn/peanuts, bubble, brown paper or those awful airpocket (...) (24 years ago, 25-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Those awful airpocket things. The rest of mine shipped and i didn't get charged any more than the original $20 shipping... though, i wonder if each charge was charged to my card separately, I don't really care, just curious is all.       What's wrong with those airpocket things? Not as flexible as peanuts or bubblewrap, I'll agree, but great for filling up large spaces in boxes. Twenty boxes worth is probably more than enough though. :-) Doug (...) (24 years ago, 25-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

They work just fine when stores ship my items to me. When shipping out my brickbay packages, I find they aren't as reusable as the other forms of packaging. If they sit around too long they get flat. I'm hoping for bubble wrap... 20 boxes worth, I'd (...) (24 years ago, 25-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

I was getting ready to pop and throw away all of my huge Rapid Fill bags, then I figured out how they work. That thin strip of plastic that sticks out through the seam in the bag is the key. There is a penny-sized hole at the end of the strip that (...) (24 years ago, 30-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) Not at one per box! I agree with you Doug, these are about the best way to take up space in boxes when weight is your main concern. I love them and am glad to get them, I use them up on overseas packages faster than I can keep them around, (...) (24 years ago, 25-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.market.shipping)

Re: Lego Buckets on Sale for $2.00 at E-Toys (back in stock, for now) —Mark Cornell
I just received 20 e-mail notifications that my buckets had shipped. Each e-mail indicates that one bucket shipped and gives me a UPS tracking number for each box. Looks like I can expect to get twenty boxes from UPS next week. Too bad this deal (...) (24 years ago, 25-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) I ordered a Silver Champion (8458) from Etoys, and it came in a huge box, slid in vertically/diagonally across the box corners, with brown paper crammed on both sides of it. The bags and parts had moved around quite a bit, and the bottom of (...) (24 years ago, 25-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Lego Buckets on Sale for $2.00 at E-Toys (back in stock, for now) —David W. Speck
(...) Funny, I went to the post office yesterday to pick-up the 20 boxes from e-Toys (to assist my carrier, and because I received a nice phone call Sunday morning from them asking for help). They, of course, wouldn't fit in my car, so I unpacked (...) (24 years ago, 29-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Lego Buckets on Sale for $2.00 at E-Toys (back in stock, for now) —Tom Stangl
The nice thing about the buckets ONCE YOU HAVE THEM, is that you can compact 2.5 buckets into one, so those 40 will end up being 16 buckets. And if you just throw them in a cardboard box, you can cram them into a decently small box. I still have 16 (...) (24 years ago, 29-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) 20 Buckets fit nicely (without *any* packaging) into 3 tubs, with space left over.... There's where the waste starts - original packaging at LEGO. Perhaps EToys is just continuing the LEGO practice. -Jon (24 years ago, 29-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Are your going out UPS or USPS? My email says US priority mail, with a tracking number, which I think means they stuck confirmation delivery on it, 20 x 3.55= $71.00!!!!!      (...) I put one box on my Postal Scale and it weighed more than 2lbs. So that would make it $4.65 x 15= $69.75 on my order of 15 buckets, which totalled $50.00!!!         RE: Lego Buckets on Sale for $2.00 at E-Toys (back in stock, for now) —Doug Finney
The first 10 of mine arrived USPS today. Actually, 8 arrived yesterday but they wouldn't all fit in the package guy's car so he just left a slip saying I had packages to pick up at the post office. He dropped off 2 more just after I got back from (...) (24 years ago, 25-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)
