I really think this box will die a horrible, quick death.

Once you get more than about 3 rules going, many people are going to get
the box, and have NOTHING that meets the rules to grab a piece they want.

I would have zero interest in such a box.  At least with the current ones,
there's a good chance your postage may be paid off in getting parts you
want (though being on all the lists is KILLING me for the parts I'm
getting, I'm more in it for the fun).  A box with heavy rules would take
all the fun OUT of it, not put it IN.

What happens if two rules conflict? Or are mutually exclusive?

Like, if you take tiles, replace with slopes AND if you take tiles
replace with windows?

I suppose that it should be against the rules to make rules that are
mutually exclusive.  So if you wanted to add the tiles -> windows rule,
you would have to choose the tiles -> to slopes rule to cross out.

Should you only follow one rule in the box for the time you have it? (I would
say no)

No.  My idea was that you would have to adhere to all the rules.

Should you have to follow the rules in numerical order as you trade with the
box? (I think yes - no going back and re-thinking)

I don't get what you mean.  I was thinking of trading a big batch of
stuff for another from the box, and that you couldn't break any rules in
so doing.  If you are following them in order what does that imply about
how you trade with the box?  Is it like you're making a bunch of smaller
trades instead of one big one?

I like the idea of personality stuff, but I think it should be limited to
pictures (4x6 or smaller)to save on weight.

No hair?

You should be able to add back an expired rule if you like it, but not one
that you caused to expire.

I agree.

Paul, who sometimes plays by the rules...and sometimes just goes by the book.

Chris, who prefers to make up his own rules.
