  Re: Addresses

(...) Why? I don't get the concern. I'm more concerned about my email address than my postal address. (...) For different reasons and in different ways I appreciate the idea of having some semi-automated double blind doohicky and also just having no (...)   Re: Announcement: New jambalya...who wants it?

(...) I dunno exactly what I'm expecting, but I am going to drop in at least a few of those conical space rocket tail pieces which other people seem to like. I haven't yet compiled a list of what other pieces I'll be doing; I guess I need to do that (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: Announcement: New jambalya...who wants it?

Killer! Jeremy, Mookie, any specific (or general types of) parts you'd like to see in there after I'm through with it? Me, I'm apt to take pieces from every theme and replace them with an equal mishmash. :-) Doug (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: Addresses

(...) I'm not so concerned about other LUGNuts, but there is the possibility of a public, centralized address list being exploited by an motivated envelope-stuffer. (...) Wow, that sounds keen. A little bit more work, but not too much. Where would (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Addresses

This is a great Idea, however what we really need is a secure system of getting the recipient address to the sender. Does anyone have any Ideas? I don't think anyone wants a centralized list of mailing addresses to exist. How about this: 1. (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: Announcement: New jambalya...who wants it?

(...) OK, I'm going to send it to Paul. The rest is contingent on everyone doing what they're supposed to, but it should then go to Doug, then Jeremy, then Tamyra. Postal time should be 2-3 days per hop, each of you should hang on to it 0-4 days (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  How many Boxes?

How many boxes are we going to have floating around? Chris is doing one.. I know Todd's doing a few at least.. I might have missed a few messages in this group so I'm trying to catch up now! Do we have a listing to join yet? Do we have confirmation (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: Announcement: New jambalya...who wants it?

Right, I just flipped back to my inbox and found three emails. If no one minds, I'm just going to sign those three up as the #2-4 participants so y'all won't have to find someone before number 5. (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Announcement: New jambalya...who wants it?

Hi all, I have a box ready to go. I've just scooped a bunch of stuff out of my to_auction rough tote as well as a few things from my collection and will send it out. I don't want to share too much about what's in it, but my most recent finds have (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: Be we Jammin' at the Convention?

(...) Is this box strictly being passed from hand to hand at this point? If not and if no one else has dibs, can I get it mailed to me when you northern train heads are done with it?   Additional Ideas including possible Location Database

This is definitly something I would be interested in participating in. I don't have alot to contribute at this time to get a box started but I have enough to replenish what I take and add a little extra (Including quite a few Classic Space minifigs (...)   Re: Be we Jammin' at the Convention?

(...) I'll be there and I will emit a box. I think the less "rules" the better. I would posit one.. put pieces back in to make the box a mite bigger than you left it (so it will eventually fork), and pieces that some reasonable person somewhere (...)   Re: Call for a box!

(...) Yeah! I'd love to dig in a box filled with minifigs. That way, I can get my hands on a Timmy, without having to buy a Time-twistin' Lego set... I'd swap it for a Blacktron-1 dude. Mark "ain't got no Timmy" de Kock (25 years ago, 20-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Some ideas on tentative structure

I gotta tell ya...I love this idea. I've been reading the posts and all kinds of crazy ideas are pouring into my head. This is a structure idea if you wanted to use a Jambalaya box primarily for trading: Anyone could start a box. Say I have 350 (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: Call for a box!

(...) I just took another look at the box of stuff I'll be handing over to Larry, and it's got probably 20 or 30 minifigs, plus about 7 maxifigs. Doesn't take up much space, but that could certainly be one such "seed" if desired. I also found about (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)
