  1977 and 1976 sets - 210, 211, 278 etc

Hi, I have set 210, 211, 278 etc from 1976 or 1977. They are all mint in factory sealed boxes. Are the worth anything? Thanks Daniel (22 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Re: 450 identical minifigs (3305), sealed polybags

(...) Its probably best to try say selling in a brickshop or lugnet.market.buysell maybe first. If you can't get rid of them that way, then try a sell them through an auction service. I guess its all a matter of how fast you want to sell them. (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jun-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

450 identical minifigs (3305), sealed polybags

I have about 450, maybe 500, 3305 sealed polybags. They each contain one minifig, with black hair, smiley face, blue torso and white legs. Some bags have the shell logo in the bottom right corner, some a "limited edition" stamp. I cannot guarantee (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jun-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Re: Completed Auction set 1552 Maersk Truck

(...) Hi, I am new to Lugnet. I got this set at eBay for 224 dollars. I do feel very lucky. The woman who sold this really had no idea how big Lego is and was surprised at the amount she got for it. I am fortunate indeed because the one that went (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jun-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Re: Completed Auction set 1552 Maersk Truck

(...) If there is one thing worse than bidding against a person with 0 feedback, it's bidding against a person with -1 feedback and a non-payer bidder comment to go with it. Ok, ok, you should never bid more than a set is worth. But there is no (...) (22 years ago, 21-May-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Re: Completed Auction set 1552 Maersk Truck

Hello! Ahhh, I was HOPING someone would have seen this auction. I have a few comments. First of all, for those of you who don't know, this set has been on eBay four separate times. The first time, I bought the set MIB. However, it was missing a (...) (22 years ago, 1-May-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Re: Completed Auction set 1552 Maersk Truck

(...) Oh, I have no doubt esc1 thought the price was fair. I just get suspicious when I see zero feedback bidders involved in these things. As a seller, if a zero feedback bidder won an auction for an apparently grossely inflated price, I'd (...) (22 years ago, 30-Apr-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Re: Completed Auction set 1552 Maersk Truck

(...) I am curious as to why you may think this Frank. I just looked at the bidding history, and as far as I could tell the zero feedback bidder doubled the bid some days ago. The winning bidder seems to have placed two bids towards the end -- (...) (22 years ago, 30-Apr-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Re: Completed Auction set 1552 Maersk Truck

(...) Yes: (URL) is just such a beautiful set in so MANY ways. Even if it does use a boatload of 1x3x5 bricks. Please consider legendizing(tm) this! FUT lego.direct (22 years ago, 30-Apr-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal, lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Completed Auction set 1552 Maersk Truck

(...) Wow^2. That would make a great set for the Legends series. If my eyes are seeing correctly, it really does have 18 wheels. Ray (22 years ago, 30-Apr-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Re: Completed Auction set 1552 Maersk Truck

(...) Well, the winner is esc1 who seems to have very deep pockets, so I have no doubt the auction will be paid for. Unfortunately, it sort of looks like he may have got bid up by someone just fooling around since the 2nd highest bid is from someone (...) (22 years ago, 30-Apr-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Re: Completed Auction set 1552 Maersk Truck

(...) Heh, you and me both! But I would have to keep a few for my town :) I have delt with this buyer before and he is very quick to pay and always is a pleasure to deal with. He has won several other high-level Lego auctions in the past so this is (...) (22 years ago, 30-Apr-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Completed Auction set 1552 Maersk Truck

The following URL is for a completed Ebay auction of Maersk promotional set # 1552 from 1985 (MIB) (URL) auction final price was 1525 US Dollars. I guess this means that some people really wanted this set and would pay almost any amount. I have (...) (22 years ago, 30-Apr-02, to lugnet.market.auction, lugnet.market.appraisal, lugnet.promo)

  fair price for 832, 834, 6890?

Hello all, What is a fair asking price for MISB 832/834? These are made in Canada by Samsonite. Does that make any difference? Also, I have a MISB 6890, also packaged in Canada by Samsonite. Lugnet DB calls it "Cosmic Cruiser" but the packaging says (...) (22 years ago, 25-Apr-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Re: Value of these unique element2?

(...) There are 2 black swords on Bricklink right now - $12 and $15. That's about avaerage, as I remember. The wall is less valuable - I have 5 or 6 in perfect condition. I estimate at most $2, and that's on a great day. Paul Sinasohn LUGNET #115 (22 years ago, 26-Mar-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Value of these unique element2?

Hi all. While sorting through a box o' bricks that have been sitting in my parent's house for years while I grew up (or should I say... got older) I found a piece of my old 6970 Beta-1 Command Base. It's the 1x6x5 blue wall brick that has the (...) (22 years ago, 26-Mar-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Re: opinions sought on selling a mass amount of Lego

(...) I think that adding so many parts to Bricklink might lead to a fall in prices on some of the lots you put up. The entirety of Bricklink right now has only 3.6 million items up for sale (including sets and parts). Dumping another 14-15% of the (...)   Re: opinions sought on selling a mass amount of Lego
