  Re: Hey! Let's get together!

(...) I am unsullied by definite plans right now. Heck, if we meet soon, I might have my latest creation completed by then (it's a secret, though Bram might know what it is, we discussed my next 4 major projects, one of which I've already completed, (...) (...) Right now, I have no plans. But then again, I usually do everything at the last minute. --Bram Bram Lambrecht bram@cwru.edu (URL) (23 years ago, 20-Sep-01, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.cle)

  Hey! Let's get together!

Our last gathering was back in MARCH, i'd say it's time to do some building again! My place is available, and the collection continues to grow. Even branching out into other colors besides blue black and yellow! So, everyone let me know what date is (...) (23 years ago, 19-Sep-01, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.cle)

  Harry Potter

Ken found the HP sets at the Eastlake Walmart. I didn't find anything on the west side though at the brooklyn super k or the walmart. Anyone else seen these around? We are still missing the sorting hat and the castle. Troy (23 years ago, 19-Sep-01, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.cle)

  Display at Marcon?

Okay, here's the scoop on Marcon. I spoke with the head programming/space allocation honcho (at our meeting this past weekend) about the possibility of getting a room to do a display at Marcon, and the answer is a definite "maybe". The key issue is (...) (23 years ago, 19-Sep-01, to lugnet.org.us.bloc, lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

  Re: Tables

I cannot build until after Sunday the 16th, so shall we try for Sunday, October 7 around noon or 1pm? I don't know how people want to deal with ownership and paying for wood. As a trial, what I will do unless another plan is adopted, I will pay for (...) (23 years ago, 10-Sep-01, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

  Re: Tables

(...) I'm not too bad with tools, even tho i don't have a lot. My schedule is pretty much hit or miss. best if a date is set and i just come if i can make it. (23 years ago, 8-Sep-01, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

  Re: Tables

(...) Well.. I think I have a hammer... :) I can pound nails and can usually do ok with a power saw and not come away missing fingers or toes or other important body parts... As for availability..   Re: Tables

I'm willing to do the table building after Sept 16. I priced the lumber at Sutherlands, which is not where we should buy it (not the greatest quality), but I figured the prices couldn't be too off, and it was convenient. The price is for the thinner (...) (23 years ago, 7-Sep-01, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

  Re: Tables

(...) Sorry, just went back & read your original post on how many tables it makes -- Doh! That is a really good price! I'm in for building tables. I just put a entertainment center together last weekend, so I'm pumped to build tables. :) --Mike. (23 years ago, 5-Sep-01, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

  Re: Tables

(...) That's not a bad price. Does that make the smaller square table or the bigger retangle table? Was that a better quality of plywood top, or about mid-grade? Where did you price it, if you don't mind me asking? --Mike. (23 years ago, 5-Sep-01, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

  Re: Tables

I priced wood this past weekend, and it looks like it will cost about $35 to make one sheet of plywoods worth of tables tops and legs. Carolyn (23 years ago, 4-Sep-01, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

  Re: Peasant's cottage

(...) Well, the roof on the "first house" picture looks a lot like Chris Maddison's roof. The roof on your newer houses looks like a cross between his and Kyle Peterson's roof. Is it movable? (Chris' roof is very play-oriented while Kyle's is (...) (23 years ago, 2-Sep-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

  Tables

As I promised to at the last meeting, I finally looked up PNLTC’s table plans and they are very easy looking. I do have the tools needed to build them. I would be interested in some sort of joint building venture. For each 4x8’ sheet of 3/8’ (...) (23 years ago, 31-Aug-01, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

  Re: next get together?

I'm booked up through Suday, Sept. 16, but am OK for after that. We could use my house to meet if nobody comes up with a meeting room. Carolyn (...) (23 years ago, 31-Aug-01, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

  Re: next get together?

(...) Probably should.. ;) Due to impending vacation plans for the 22nd-29th of Sept, I have no clear idea of what my schedule will be after this weekend (which is booked due to the holiday). Why don't the rest of you plan when would work for you, (...) (23 years ago, 31-Aug-01, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)
