  DC Brikfest

Hey, is anyone else planning on attending the DC Brikfest? It might be worthwhile carpooling and/or sharing a hotel room. (24 years ago, 16-May-00, to lugnet.loc.us.nc)

Re: Black & White Metroliner-like Train

These look good. The non-alignment of the black stripes is a bit jarring though. I've been surprised at the value of the 6557 cab you've used, these must be one of the more expensive 9v train parts.   Re: New Hope Valley Railroad LEGO Train Exhibit

Sounds like a good idea. June 17th is out for me, but I think every other date is ok. I have a 4x8 table already, but I'm sure the length of the legs is wrong. I think they're 3ft+plywood thickness, and the screws poke out. Changing to new legs (...) (24 years ago, 4-May-00, to lugnet.org.us.nclug, lugnet.loc.us.nc)

Re: New Hope Valley Railroad LEGO Train Exhibit

Excellent comments - let's keep a good dialog going. I am okay with ZNAP - I bought four sets for the sole purpose of building some sort of bridge. My chop saw can cut 4'x4's. It's got a 10" blade. I don't have a circular saw, but it's fun to buy power tools, so I may look into picking one up if no one has one now. Sounds great. If I can arrange to be in town for the June/July date, I'll gladly participate. I have plenty of straight track and points that I could bring for a trial garage setup and a show. I'm willing to build a table or help build a table.
