  Re: Get together this weekend

(...) That would be ok with me, and would have the advantage of not having to be practically kicked out like we were last time. We do need to decide where to meet though, so I guess my vote is to meet at James's. (25 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.us.nc)

  Re: NC people

A roll call would be a good idea and it should probably be it's own thread. For the rest of your questions, the idea of first getting together revolved around efforts to set up a display at a train show last fall. It never worked out but the desire (...)   NC people

Hi I have a general idea of the NC people (however, a rollcall of sorts would be nice...) from seeing the posts in this newsgroup and looking up websites f/memberpages. I see a lot of wonderful creations, trains ( and more trains!) and boxes ... Are (...) (25 years ago, 28-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.us.nc)

  Re: Get together this weekend

(...) Ah, I could do Sunday evening at 8:30/9:00ish or so if we wanted to have a repeat meeting at the Cary Borders (though they close at 10 so it would be short, or if people wanted to start earlier, I could just drop in later). (25 years ago, 28-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.us.nc)

  Re: Get together this weekend

(...) Um, I can't do it this weekend either. Sunday evening is the only possibility. Jimmy (25 years ago, 28-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.us.nc)

  Get together this weekend

Ok, I'll try again... I'm available Friday evening and all day Satruday if someone within 2 hours drive of Raleigh wants to get together (or farther away if you want to drive here or find a place in between to meet). (25 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.us.nc)

  Get together this weekend

Anyone up for something this weekend in Raleigh/Cary? I available for Friday evening, Saturday morning and afternoon, and Sunday afternoon and evening. I'd consider driving as far as Winston Salem for a Saturday or Sunday afternoon get together. (25 years ago, 21-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.us.nc)

  Small City Street

This evening instead of sorting, perusing LUGNET and eBay, I actually spent some time building! I like the small downtown streets like you find in the old part of Cary or Salem Street in Apex so I decided to build some store fronts like you might (...)   NCLUG 1st Event?

I heard back from New Hope Valley RailRoad over the weekend. They will discuss allowing us to participate at their next scheduled train ride (May 7th) at their board meeting the second week of March.   Re: set 1271 Jungle Surprise

(...) The new Food Lion in Mebane (just off 85/40 - i believe it's exit 152) has them... don't know if you'd classify that as Triangle or not... but it's the only place that I've seen any Lego. rich. (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.us.nc)

  Re: set 1271 Jungle Surprise

(...) The Food Lion on Western Blvd. in Raleigh HAD 3 of these last night (now I do...). What I haven't figured out is how to tell which Food Lions will have LEGO sets. The Western Blvd one seems to reliably have them. I haven't found another Food (...) (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.us.nc)
