| Hugh, I was there by the double-doors near the meeting rooms (which were locked, btw) around 1:45, but I didn't see anybody hanging around. I wandered around the library, popping back by the doors every so often. I only had a short amount of time to (...) (23 years ago, 24-Mar-03, to lugnet.loc.us.mo.stl)

| The day of the first meeting of AFOL-STL has come and gone, nobody showed but me. I read an interesting book on the beginnings of Lego. I will try to set up another meeting in a couple of weeks. After that... Hugh (Don) Lugnet #1239 (23 years ago, 24-Mar-03, to lugnet.loc.us.mo.stl)

| I have contacted the St. Louis County Library at 1640 So. Lindbergh Blvd. and although all meeting rooms are closed on Sundays, they will allow us to use a table off to the side. We can bring items and do a show-n-tell for ourselves, and of course (...) (23 years ago, 22-Mar-03, to lugnet.loc.us.mo.stl)

| Hugh, As we discussed in a private thread, I'm interested too. Although, I'm not sure how much/long I'll be able to participate; my wife and I are expecting a future Lego fan this fall. :) Sunday afternoons are okay by me. I'm in the South City (...) |
| Hi gang, I'm trying to get together fellow AFOL's in the St. Louis area. Possibly start monthly meetings on Sunday afternoons. Anyone interested? Hugh (23 years ago, 17-Mar-03, to lugnet.loc.us.mo.stl)
| | | | | Re: K B Sale - 7201 Final Duel II
| I think its chain-wide. Our KBs here in St. Louis have had the same deal for several months now. For whatever reason though, the Jedi Duel I (or was it II) was still marked at $9.99. I'm hoping it will change though. :) Jack Hawk AFOL, St. Louis (...) (23 years ago, 16-Mar-03, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.loc.us.mo.stl)

| | | | | Target's MOT 75% off
| Keep checking your local Target's train stock. I helped liberate a couple of Kansas City area stores that had moved their trains to the magical 75% off mark this week. Unlike last year's consistent markdowns by region, it seems as if each store's (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-03, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.loc.us.mo.kan)

| | | | | Re: Any Lego Places to Visit in St. Louis, MO ?
| Conrad, I wouldn't say there is anything special Lego-wise here in St. Louis. We have the standard stores: Wal-Marts, K-Marts, Targets, TRUs, KB and three KB Outlets sprinkled here and there. Last weekend the KB at the South County Mall (I55 & I270) (...) (24 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.loc.us.mo.stl)
