JULY BAYLUG MEETING and brick/plate height ruler...

Some guys just love to gloat! So TOM how about building an 8 wide metroliner? I've completed a new SW1 8 wide switcher, and have rebuilt the 8 wide hopper. Its much better. Did you scan those instruction cards? Are you happy with out deal for parts? (...) (23 years ago, 26-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: brick/plate height ruler...

You want a 25-car Metroliner? I can do that ;-) I've just been playing around with designs for various cars. I have enough Metroliners, I just need to figure out HOW MANY of each car to make. I need to build a mail car, 2-3 Club Cars, a ton of (...) (23 years ago, 26-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.org.ca.nalug, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

I originally made it to measure stripe on various "Daylight"-type passenger coaches, so I could easily tell where the stripes were, but I could also tell the top and bottom, level of the windows, etc. without worrying about the distance (...) I was so inspired that I've made container car Bricksmith kits that will be available as soon as I can find time to get the instructions drawn up. :-) The first production run (which I plan to auction) is done and parts for many dozens more (...)   Breaking radio silence...

Too much work (still pre-IPO, but still hanging on after 5 years!), but I finally made some time to build more improvements on my Spine Car. I added some beds for the SuperTrain 2001 show, but I finally made some time to work on much-needed (and (...)   Emeryville Toys 'R' Toxic

Last night before practice (mainly because we were an hour early) I stopped by the Toys R Us in Emeryville. (It's on Hollis, in the Ikea area, the shopping center portion closest to the freeway). They have a HUGE overstock of lego still. I was (...) (23 years ago, 18-Apr-01, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

I agree wholeheartedley with all these suggestions and think they form an excellent starting point to establish some structure in our future meetings. I think it's something we need to work on.   Re: Meeting Protocols?

As I remember, there were moveable doors that could be pulled out to separate Fukaya into 2 rooms. Hi all, I pretty much agree with Zonker. The Argus postings have listed the hours as 1 to 4 pm. I brought the Duplo last time just so the smaller kids would have something to play with.   Meeting Protocols?

Re: Some ideas for next time
