I'll jump in there...
Small pieces of Miniland have been altered and updated. The Swiss Centre in
London was an obvious replacement (the old one had a serious condensation
problem), as was the fountain in Edinburgh - new yellow bricks really grab the
eye! There were some new acrobats in Covent Garden (the Spice Girls have gone
BTW) and numerous small pieces had been replaced elsewhere (i.e. people and
working vehicles). Some ads have been replaced in Piccadilly Circus
(especially since Vauxhall have replaced Ford as LL sponsors). The largest
addition that we saw (we only went around the UK exhibits) were 2 new
schooners tied up to the wharf opposite the "Cornwall". They make the old USS
Constitution set look a little weedy... (I've shots of these, but the film's
not yet been used up)
And Nelson is still not in his right place at the top of his column, nor are
the clocks in St. Stephen's Tower working...
We'll be making a longer visit soon...
