    Going to Billund —Leonardo Zide
Hi, I'll be visiting Billund in Monday and Tuesday of the next week (4 and 5 of September), maybe I'll get there one day earlier, after that I'll go to Copenhagen. Does anyone have any advice about what to do in Denmark or some Lego-shopping (...) (24 years ago, 27-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.dk, lugnet.legoland.billund)

Re: Going to Billund —Jacob Sparre Andersen
Leonardo: (...) There is a nice small shop called "A. B. Legetøj" at Trianglen in Copenhagen. There are lots of things to do in Copenhagen, so it is mostly a matter of your interests. Here are some possibilities: Carlsberg - get a tour of a Danish (...) (24 years ago, 28-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.dk, lugnet.legoland.billund)

(...) I'll make sure to check it out, do they have old sets ? (...) I wrote down the names and will visit those places. Is it worth to take a train and go to Odense ? I wish I could stay more time but my boss doesn't even know I'm going to travel. (...) (24 years ago, 29-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.dk, lugnet.legoland.billund)

Leonardo: (...) Usually. (...) Depends on your interests. The train museum in Odense should be quite good, but I have never had time to visit it. (...) ;-) (...) Don't worry. - Then the park would be closed most of the summer. (...) No problem. (...) (24 years ago, 29-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.dk, lugnet.legoland.billund)

Re: Going to Billund —Anne Jorunn Midtkil
(...) We were there the weekend of 19.-20. of August, and there was a great _sale_ there. I have not been in Legoland since I was 12, and do not know their policy when it comes to these things, but the deals was like this: 50% of old and new sets in (...)         Re: Going to Billund —Mark Benz
Hi, We were there several years ago now, but if you have the time, walk (or drive) a few blocks to the air/space/Faulk (spelling probably wrong, means emergency but was a guy's name) museum "next door". Its quite nice, and fun as well, and takes (...) (24 years ago, 29-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.dk, lugnet.legoland.billund)

Re: Going to Billund —Mark Benz
Hi Again, Also, it is not clear if you are driving or on the train. The trains were quite frequent between Arhus and Cobenhavn via Odense. Lingtog (Lighting train) or others, probably newer ones by now, are FAST. Also, I think there is a new bridge (...) (24 years ago, 29-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.dk, lugnet.legoland.billund)

Re: Going to Billund —Jacob Sparre Andersen
Mark: (...) The Danish trains aren't that fast - you'll never get to go faster than 180 km/h - but you can get from Billund to Copenhagen in three hours (you need to take a bus to Vejle and catch a train there).      (...) I got a plane from Billund to Copenhagen, 40 minutes only. (...) I don't have any space left on my suitcases, a friend took me to the employee's shop in Billund.      (...) Too late, I couldn't check my email earlier and now I'm already back home. I'll bug the newsgroup with some questions later, they gave me a book called "culture shock: moving to Denmark" that doesn't say many good things. :) (...) It's a (...)
