I really want a few 9v lego train sets, and many other lego train sets for that matter. I would prefer trades, but i will also buy. I mostly want the 4547 clubcar, metroliner (hopefully not for long, my one on ebay should win!) and 4554 train (...) (24 years ago, 3-Sep-00, to lugnet.loc.ca.on.tor)

Welcome to the Toronto Group. (...) Why would you want to wait for e-bay??? you can get a mindstorms RCX kit for the regular $300, or you can read my last post and discover Sprectum and get just the brick, then program it in NQC. I've Been looking at Calum's page for some time now, me and my older brother are showing up, but not participating. As soon as i save up enough money, i'll be buying a mindstorms kit off ebay, but i'll also need an upgrade kit available only from (...) The best solution of all came from Ralph H. who suggested I call Spectrum (in Aurora) 905-841-0600 After saving all my pennies I discovered that I had most of the $360 I needed to buy a RIS (...) Call Spectrum (I think) Educational Supplies in Toronto. The educational versions of the Mindstorms kits may have different parts, but the RCX has a jack ( which is why you want it, right? ) Sorry, I don't have a number handy... Cheers, Ralph Hempel (...)
