Hi guys, I am also in Ottawa, and just having come out of my dark ages in November, I might be interested in joining the LUG. How did it go last night... find any good deals? For $40 (marked down from $90) you can get the 3038 CyberSlam set at PlayValue. It comes with quite a few beams, shocks, and a motor - it's cheaper than the motor set by itself. Playvalue Toys (1501 Carling Ave) just got a big shipment of Y2K Lego: No soccer sets... yet. All the new Dino Island sets except 5903. The Bay in Place de Orleans has about 8 sets of the big UFO 6979 at $27.49 (original price $109). Not a good set but the price is right.
