Wow, thanks for all the info!  Sounds like I'll have a busy evening.  Ooh, big
pirate sets... maybe a second suitcase is in order...

Cheers, Heather

Hi Ottawans (is that right?),

I'll be in town for a two-day conference next week, and will have Wednesday
evening free.  I wanna go SHOPPING!  Where's my best bet for coming home with • a
suitcase full of LEGO?  I'm staying downtown, although I expect to be taking
cabs around everywhere.

May be a truck load of LEGO... You should go to PlayValue, a big toy store
located near Kirkwood Ave and Carling Ave (west bound), right behind the Acura
auto dealer.  At Wednesday they may close at 6pm or 7pm, so be quick!

Their special items:

815   $7.99
6289  $80.00 (The last big Pirate ship)
6281  $60.00
6280  $40.00 (Also saw it listed at $30.00 at Zellas, but I could not find a
             single box left.)
8286  $60.00 (My review: http://www.lugnet.com/technic/?n=8 )
6766  $60.00?
8266  $40.00 (This one has a motor)
6104  $6.xx
And may be a few others.  They also have one of the blue bucket with special
parts for $10.00, and many older sets that cannot be found elsewhere.

Also, the Bay that has the biggest LEGO shelf is in Bayshore shoping center,
which also has a Zellas in there.  The biggest Sears is in Carling Wood • shoping
center.

Canadian Tire is having a few mini sets at very low price:  2872, 2845, 2848
and 2885:  only $1.49.

For Walmart, most of the prices in  http://www.lugnet.com/loc/ca/?n=179  are
still valid.  They are also having 6497 and 6919 at $30.

ToysR'Us has 7161 at $60 and 8445 at $50, and a few others I don't remember.

I guess that is too much for one night. :)  Have fun shopping.
