  Re: Sears Wishbook is out

(...) Well I went over to the Walmart and discovered a nearly empty Lego shelf! So I headed over to the clearance aisle just to see where all the sets had gone (hoping they were there), but no Lego there either. In typical Walmart fashion I then (...) (21 years ago, 31-Aug-03, to lugnet.loc.ca)

  Re: Sears Wishbook is out

....speaking of Sears, I was going to mail off a package at the post office at my local shopping mall, I decided to check out Sears. I seen they had a 75% off clearance sale (on Starwars sets). I got over $60 worth of LEGO for $15. I thought that (...) (21 years ago, 31-Aug-03, to lugnet.loc.ca)

(...) Which was my point exactly. :) The name they went with is only partly accurate to describe what's in the box. Which might be o.k. if this wasn't a smart and sophisticated company, putting out a line of their products in association with (...) (21 years ago, 30-Aug-03, to lugnet.loc.ca)

  Re: Sears Wishbook is out

  Sears Wishbook is out

The Sears Wishbook arrived on my doorstep this evening. As usual, there is a deal where you can save money if you order on your Sears card before October 4. 2003. Get a $10 credit on your Sears card with orders of $100 or more (941612510), $20 on (...) (21 years ago, 27-Aug-03, to lugnet.loc.ca)

  NWBrickcon

I certainly understand privacy issues as I work in the IT section at the UVic Library. We have to deal with lots of online privacy issues. Perhaps people would be more comfortable meeting at a coffee shop or restaurant. This would allow a more (...) (21 years ago, 21-Aug-03, to lugnet.loc.ca.bc.vic, lugnet.org.ca.viclug)

We do have them, the last one was more than a year ago- generally, it is informal, and kind of by invite, because of the fact that it is almost always held at a VICLUG members home, and some of us are more privacy worried than others. (...) I am trying to post this to both so that anyone else who comes along does not miss out.   No summer catalogue for Canadians
