Hi from Kitchener, Stopped in at our local Walmart and stumbled across 1382 Scary Labratory for $35 Cdn in a makeshift clearance aisle...I picked up two. Soccer Challenge II 3420 was also on for $35 Cdn. I couldn't justify that one for parts. Anyone (...) (22 years ago, 8-Feb-03, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Hi, There is a good selection of StarWars sets here at the Kitchener TRU. I went for the sale and came back empty handed ... I just couldn't justify buying anything at these prices. They had the Tantive for $300, I think the Tie Interceptor was $150 (...) (22 years ago, 8-Feb-03, to lugnet.loc.ca)

I just went to my local TRU and it looks like they might have pulled all 2003 SW sets off of the shelves, they weren't there and they're spaces were convienently filled older sets, mostly 740x. :-( The good news is they have a bunch of older sets so (...) (22 years ago, 8-Feb-03, to lugnet.loc.ca)

I've seen these knock-off sets at various times in Ontario. They turned up a couple of years ago at Home hardware, but disappeared almost as quickly as they appeared. (...) Yup I got several. Along with chrome pistols. There is also this funny red cup that Shifty inserted in with the Lego picture. On the front is appears red, on the back and side its yellow. I was out checking the lego situation in Metrotown, when I decided to look at the Dollar Store. I noticed some model cars in the front and wanted to see them. Maybe not very Boxing Day Sale(ish) but my local Home Hardware has all toys at 50% off. Although their Lego selection is poor, to say the least, I did get a couple 7103 Jedi Duels for $7.49 each ($14.99 each regular), 11 cents per piece including (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.ca)
