  Re: Bionicles Promo's at McDonalds

Isn't it funny that the Bionicles are the most nutritious part of the Happy meal :P. FUT: lugnet.fun (22 years ago, 18-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.fun)

(...) Only if you choose the Chicken Nugget option! :-) If you choose the cheeseburger, you're getting Australian beef* (which is the best in the world!!) and contains protein, omega 3s, iron, zinc and vitamin B12.   Re: Bionicles Promo's at McDonalds

(...) I got one earlier today. I didn't even need to ask, I must've had that 'Lego Aisle' look in my eyes. They did give me a girly box though, which is disturbing... Anyway I don't care what all the 'purists' say about bionicle, I know those big (...) (22 years ago, 19-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.fun)

(...) If you're really unlucky, you might get a tacky zoo animals box, though these do have free children's coupons to zoos. (...) My red plates had melted into liquid by the time I got mine. (22 years ago, 19-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) Hrmm... I wasn't really happy about that, as I was looking forwards getting another Huki (No.1 of 6), but the store I went to sold out, and so I got Onepu (no.2 of 6). This was the Flinders St Macca's. Colby. (22 years ago, 19-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Bionicles Promo's at McDonalds

(...) When was this, I went to that store tonight just before 6pm, and they only had Huki. I have been to a few different stores over the weekend, and they all seem to have opened different boxes first, as I have 1, 2 and 3. Just check out another (...) (22 years ago, 19-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) Well, Roxburgh park had number 2 yesterday, but when I asked today, they'd opened number 1 box as well :) [though when Mandy first pointed them out to me [she regrets it now :) ] they had both 1 and 2 at Greensborough.] BTW, there's a (...) (22 years ago, 19-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Bionicles Promo's at McDonalds

(...) That was around Midday I went there. Today I went to my local store - Karingal - near Frankston, they have already got no. 3 out, I asked if they still had no. 1, the girl who served me went looking for one. Found one! But the funny thing is, (...) (22 years ago, 20-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) How do you buy the toy without the meal? And how much does it cost? I never thought you can buy toys without the meal, I thought thats why it was called Happy Meal just so the kids have something to play while eating the food. Colby. (22 years ago, 20-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Just ask for the toy (or multiples thereof), they are $2 each. (...) Something to play with while eating the food? Well, it could be done that way... but my child is not allowed to play with the toy until *after* the meal is finished. It gets us out of McD's significantly sooner. ;-) Cheers Richie (22 years ago, 20-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Bionicles Promo's at McDonalds

I almost bought one of these things yesterday. Then I came to my senses. Even for building Bionicle stuff they don't appear to have any useful parts except perhaps for the masks. (...) Mmm...the brown ones, Huki ( 1 of 6), I never did manage to grab all the Hukis I wanted, I was too slow off the mark and ill earlier this week. So beware, my local Mc is now onto the yellow masked one which is 4 of 6. So the first 3 have sold (...) (22 years ago, 23-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)
