Do you reckon they might package some of the new sensors in with a new
release? That would push the price up but still might be cheaper than
buying them separately (I'm hopeful, aren't I?!)

I wonder..., did they ever clear 1.0 models out cheaply? AFAIK these were
still available at the normal price when 1.5 came out, but neither set
was plentiful in Tas so we probably wouldn't get to see any clearances.
Then again, if 1.0 was a better buy than 1.5 maybe 1.5 will be a better
buy than 2.0, I wish I had a crystal ball :)

I'm not up to speed with anything Mindstorm related, BUT..I did see that Dick Smith Electronics was selling the Droid developer kit, for $99. This is the set with that (...) (24 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)
