With some luck I will be in London on Saturday (7/10) morning on my way home from Stockholm and I am hoping to spend the afternoon at LEGOLAND Windsor. Well, I have (just) returned!! Woo-Hoo! Fun trip. I will post my reflections upon my LL experience a little later, but the early word is that it is definately worth it. Compared to SeaWorld and the San Diego Zoo, the kids (9 & 11) by far enjoyed LL (...) (25 years ago, 5-Jul-99, to lugnet.legoland)

Well, I thought it was ok, especially since we got there early. Kids tend to tire out by afternoon so later in the day it quieted down some. The evenings weren't packed at all. It certainly wasn't like Disneyland or Great America by any means... (...) (25 years ago, 2-Jul-99, to lugnet.legoland)

I will be at Legoland California the weekend of July 16-18. How are the crowds? I was at the park on opening weekend and it was quite pleasant--few lines, no huge crowds. I'm just back from LLW. Here's a quick resume: 1. No Episode 1 sets in sight. 2. All '99 rides up and running, except the water-chute one by the house (June apparently) 3.
