Well, I have (just) returned!! Woo-Hoo! Fun trip. I will post my
reflections upon my LL experience a little later, but the early word is that
it is definately worth it. Compared to SeaWorld and the San Diego Zoo, the
kids (9 & 11) by far enjoyed LL the best (and dad;-) I had hoped to post
from there, but my connection somehow didn't work:-( Only went one day, but
it was from 11am until closing (9pm).
As for the bringing the computer along, it only flew because 1) it was new,
and b) the kids did educational stuff on it in the hotel rooms. That, my
friend Paul, is the angle I would suggest. Convince her that listening to
the scanner is educational for the kids. [1]
[1] How to do that is a YP, not a MP;-)
