Re: LEGO disappearing from small toyshops

(...) The other kind of stores that might be interested are those stores that specialise in "executive toys" or "adult leisure products" (no, not *that* kind) or "gizmo shops". Those stores often carry the high-end model-building sets, huge jigsaws, (...) (23 years ago, 16-Feb-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

New colors for old Legends (WAS: legend voting)

(...) Don, I have previously suggested a similar course of action for this set: (URL) this is one of my all time favorite sets, and at the top of my list for a Legends reissue, it frankly looks silly in blue.   Re: Why the absence of LD in their own newsgroup?

why has lego direct ignored the space theme?

Train gets the My Own Train plus the train cars, as well as various bulk packs. Castle gets the Guarded Inn rerelease plus there are the new cool harry potter sets comming out (not lego direct but castle fans like them all the same) Pirate fans get (...)   Re: LD's Auctions (Re: Going once, going twice, sold!)

(...) Well, actually no. The first instance of lego as a collectible would simply have been people keeping sets in a collectible condition (which has been going on for quite a while).   Re: Super Chief set not ready for prime-time // Super Chief no train set?

For a long time, I resisted buying any of the Super Chief sets. The models DO look a little top-heavy, and LEGO® has slipped on their quality control like never before seen in their history. People say that LEGO® is too expensive, and that they (...) (22 years ago, 16-Oct-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.general)
