  Re: Skeleton Henchmen

(...) 2nded 2nded!!!! If all we get these days is the 3 minifig hero sets, I'd like to see: - 2 Ogel's henchmen + 1 Ogel - 2 Imperial Guards + 1 Emperor (or 1 shuttle pilot) - 2 Storm Troopers + 1 Tie Fighter pilot I'd also like to see a minifig (...)   Skeleton Henchmen

Dear Lego/Lego Direct, Is there any chance you might release special minifig sets with Ogel's skeleton henchmen? I would buy many of them. I really like the figs, but with only two in each Ogel Command Center, I don't imagine I'll be getting many (...) (24 years ago, 19-Mar-01, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: What Kids really want. Not Juniorization.

(...) Since the tubs are a bulk dump of basic bricks, they're not necessarily the best indicator of piece:price ratio. One might compare, for instance, the Mos Espa Podrace, with 894 pieces for $99 MSRP vs the MB Aircraft Carrier, with about 1700 (...) (...) Dear Brad - please remember that since you are re-releasing relatively recent sets, the response may not be as vigorous as if you had released older sets. I hope that a lukewarm response to this round of releases won't stand in the way of (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Polybag Racks (was: Shopping Anecdote and Suggestions (Long))

(...) I don't think that will happen. LEGO's usual design for polybags is 1 minifig and a small cart/backdrop/vehicle to go with him. I'm more concerned with getting more polybags out there than changing the way they make them. Especially since they (...) (24 years ago, 12-Mar-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: the whole truth and nothing but the truth

(...) I wonder if they chose large sets because the profit margin works better for a small number of expensive sets. However, if "set size" really is an issue, they could bundle together a few sets like sets 6041 (armour shop), 6040 (weaponsmith), (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

What is different from Brad telling us "hey Shop at Home got this pile of nice sets" and a (...) (24 years ago, 16-Mar-01, to lugnet.admin.nntp, lugnet.lego.direct)

Okay, good to hear you officially admit your "mistakes" now, although I still think two different batches are a marketing strategy, rather than a true misprint (which sounds rather impossible having in mind how much hope and efforts TLC has (...)
