Re: Sneak Preview of the NEW LEGO® Island Xtreme Stunts!

(...) Well, I can guarantee you that I will never build a skateboard funk park, but that being said I have to mention that these sets look pretty cool. There is a great assortment of new pieces, and they are available at nice <$15 prices. New (...) (22 years ago, 9-May-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Dear Lego Enthusiasts! The German Legoland-Park in Günzburg/Bavaria opened its doors to the members of the Lego World Club and 500 "exclusive" guests from the 1000steine.de community yesterday.   Re: Why the absence of LD in their own newsgroup?

I think LD are often silent for some fairly obvious reasons. Firstly, we LUGnetters don't seem to agree on too many things, so I don't think we send very clear messages about what we want to Lego Direct. Some people want more re-releases of Classic (...)   Re: Poor Service to Toy Shops = No Lego

It may not be as hopeless for all independent toy store that wish to sell Lego. There is an independent toy store here in Calgary, Alberta that does sell Lego, and they stock quite a bit of Lego.
