I think LD are often silent for some fairly obvious reasons. Firstly, we LUGnetters don't seem to agree on too many things, so I don't think we send very clear messages about what we want to Lego Direct. Some people want more re-releases of Classic (...) It may not be as hopeless for all independent toy store that wish to sell Lego. There is an independent toy store here in Calgary, Alberta that does sell Lego, and they stock quite a bit of Lego. 		Poor Service to Toy Shops = No Lego
I went by our local (favorite) toy store yesterday. They have always carried a great selection of Lego and generally carried some shop at home only sets. There was NO LEGO. (...) I Know TRU's do not get their stock directly. Everything TRU sells first goes to a central wherehouse and is distributed by truck to each store from there. So maybe thats why there is a delay?
