    Lugnet Promo Sets —Frank Filz
I'm curious as to how the promotional sets work. Is it at all possible that Lugnet could work with TLC to make promotional sets available? I'd love to see an assortment like the Shell sets (and I'm sure Lugnet would be happy for TLC to sell them (...) (23 years ago, 14-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) I can do some digging into this, but keep in mind that the Shell promo would be millions of units. I am not sure what the quantity would be for a LUGNET set, but I am not sure that the revenue/volume would be there to meet the minimums. Jake (23 years ago, 15-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) That's what I was curious about, what are the volumes? I could believe millions for the Shell sets, but I seriously doubt the Velux promo runs to the millions. I kind of doubt the airline promos do either (now if they were sold on domestic (...) (23 years ago, 15-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) I fired off a Email to Jake (which I will repeat here: I'm not sure if you would have access, but there is some info on my web page (you all can dig for it, its on the UNICEF van :) which is about a van made here in Canada by Sampsonite.        (...) Umm, I wouldn't be complaining too much about wheels if we got a set similar to 1650 (gosh, how many center sections does that thing have? Is that TLC's longest ship? It looks like it could be longer than a BSB or SES). I assume you meant (...) (23 years ago, 15-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) real (...) How about the UNICEF van, with the container doors on the back, that would give white container doors, and pannels. It has 1x3x1 doors on it, and it would require little modification to make it as you are suggesting. James (23 years ago, 16-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) Hi Jake - That'd be great. I understand volume could be an issue - but... how many units of the Statue of Liberty sell?      (...) May I suggest one per month. Possibly related to something seasonal (although the seasons are swapped across the equator). Lugnet members could keep standing open orders (as in: ship me 2 each time a new one is released). Ray (23 years ago, 14-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)
