Re: Spring Cleaning Goodies —Jon Gilchrist
(...) These are on the shelf at a Walgreens in Lake Zurich, IL. I just picked one up for $5.99. I haven't had a chance to inventory it yet, so I can't really say what parts might be "extra." It's in a standard yellow box, not a plastic tub. -Jon (20 years ago, 30-Oct-04, to lugnet.lego)

(...) I just bought 3 of these from my local Walgreens! I took some pics to give everyone an indication of what's inside that's special.      Tom, where are you located? I bought 3 at one of the Walgreens in Terre Haute, IN, and one of them has approximately the same assortment of the one you posted (I will take pictures of the two variations I got tonight or tomorrow morning). (20 years ago, 31-Oct-04, to lugnet.lego)

(...) Hey Aaron, I'm in College Station, TX! I'll be very interested in seeing your variations of this set. I was considering buying some more, but only if there's a chance for finding different parts. I was really surprised at the fact that all (...) (20 years ago, 31-Oct-04, to lugnet.lego)

Tom, here are pics for the two that I got dissimilar from yours: An overview: (URL) The folder when public: (URL) I'll likely sort out the third one tomorrow, and post pictures if its differences are significant (I know there are at least a couple).       (...) The one I just opened was similar to all of the pictures in this thread, but still at least 25% different than any of them. I didn't find anything unusual that hasn't been seen in other pictures from this thread though. I bought three tonight, (...) (20 years ago, 31-Oct-04, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

Hi all, I just picked up a few of the 4562 bonus box at some Walgreen's in the Sacramento area. I first want to point out that they are $5.99 each BUT you get 3 for $11.98 (buy 2 get 1 free)!!! What a deal! I bought 3 boxes at each of two stores. (...) (20 years ago, 31-Oct-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sac, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf, FTX)

Re: 4562 Revealed! (was Spring Cleaning...) —Thomas Stangl
Peeron's inventory for this set is SO screwy, I can't trust it. It is listing 8x8 bricks, and teal 2x4s, that none of the 9 I've gotten have. It would be nice if the inventory ONLY listed the [standard] bricks from the set, as many people parting (...) (20 years ago, 4-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego)

(...) Over the past few days, I parted out and listed most of the variable parts from the bonus bags as found in my first collection of 4562 boxes (I'm still sorting the basic bricks).           Re: 4562 Revealed! (was Spring Cleaning...) —Thomas Stangl
I see someone has added notes to each piece for this set on Peeron, which is great. [However], I removed any listings for Bonus bags, printed out the remaining listings for [small standard bag A], [small standard bag B], and [large standard bag A], (...)       (...) I've gotton two more large bonus bag varieties (D and E, I guess). I don't know which one you already have, so I've listed both below.       (...) This is the one I was going to call 'D' (...) I did not get any of these, so this would be 'E' (...)
