Re: bulk should mean more than 10

(...) The problem is that there is an overhead cost that is probably very close to the same whether the pack has 10 or 100 windows. I'm guessing that this overhead cost is a large proportion of the $4.99 that 10 windows cost, and that TLC could sell (...) (26 years ago, 1-Sep-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  New Chrome Castle Sets

Dear Brad: Once again some of us in the AFOL community are up in arms about a series of releases that appear to be geographically specific to Germany, or to Europe. I am repeatedly outraged that we AFOL are not promoted to or kept within the loop of (...) (26 years ago, 1-Sep-00, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.castle)

Re: bulk should mean more than 10

(...) Yes, but overhead is just the problem. Since few people need 50 windows, they wouldn't sell many sets, and the overhead of creating and advertising the package would be divided among fewer sets. There are definite diminishing returns, here. (...) (26 years ago, 1-Sep-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) [SNIP!!] We have a "charter" for this group, and we still get threads like this. I just don't get it. Personally, I found the tone of the original post to TLC a little unpleasant.
