I don't know how many of you get Mania Magazine but in the May-June 2000
issue the comic on page 6 showed a computer with its browser at Lugnet. I saw
this and didn't think a whole lot of it, but in the bottom right corner in
small print the next issue(July-August 2000) says:
"In the May-June issue of this magazine, the LUGNET logo appeared on p.6 in
the image of a computer screen on the desk of the LEGO Mainiac. LUGNET is an
idependently run Internet site representing a network of user-groups of LEGO
products. LUGNET and the LUGNET logo are trademarks of Todd S. Lehman and
Suzanne D. Rich. The LEGO Group does not sponsor or endorse LUGNET."
My guess would be that the animator of the comic visits LUGNET or knows about
it and shamelesley included it, then LEGO found out and "talked" with him/her
about it. What do you all think?
