5972 is the identification number of the Engine "Olton Hall" the engine
which was repainted (and renamed) "Hogwart's Express" for the movie. They
kept the engine number, which appears in the movie and hence on the front of
the LEGO model of the engine. See
http://www.hpgalleries.com/mgallery6.htm
As for the set number for the "Express" the potter sets are 4701-4709 and
4721-4723. See
http://news.lugnet.com/harrypotter/?n=15
As it says, it'll probably be one of the higher numbers (price points).
Also,
http://news.lugnet.com/harrypotter/?n=11
Confirms that the Express is included in the set line-up to clear any
naysaying doubts, though at US$35 or US$50 I hope it's not just the engine,
that it includes at least one carriage.
OTOH, the "my own train" large engines are US$35 so if it's the higher price
point a carriage isn't out of the question.
Hope this helps!
James (who doesn't like the font they've used for the boilerplate signage :(
