New Star Wars Stuff —Kya Morden
In case you missed it on RTL you can find a picture of a new flyer/catalogue at (URL) which has a picture of minifigs of Han and Boba Fett as well as a B-wing. Kya (25 years ago, 7-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: New Star Wars Stuff —Jonas Marcho
Not bad...but one question...where are the Stormtroopers? (25 years ago, 7-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: New Star Wars Stuff —David Eaton
(...) And Princess Leia! And C-3PO! And Chewie! "But [the AFOLs] ask the impossible... I need more men!" "Then perhaps you can tell [them] when [they] arrive..." "The [AFOLs are] coming here?" "That is correct, [TLG]. And [they are] most displeased (...) (25 years ago, 7-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) [added lugnet.starwars] And Lego's Millennium Falcon, albeit in shadow. And who is it underneath Luke's lightsabre? Uncle Owen? There don't seem to be any new E1 sets, as rumoured. :: paul (25 years ago, 7-Oct-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)

Re: New Star Wars Stuff —Christopher Tracey
(...) The minifig under the lightsaber appears to be Han Solo. I'm really amazed by these sets, even with the small size of the pictures. <speculation> The Falcon seems pretty hefty. The front mandibles look to be the new x-wing style wings with (...) (25 years ago, 7-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: New Star Wars Stuff —Fredrik Glöckner
(...) I wouldn't say that. If TLG was to produce the Millenium Falcon in it's proper size, it would be a far too large set to sell. (Ok, so I know that a lot of people around here would buy it, but for most kids it would be too large.) LEGO usually (...) (25 years ago, 7-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: New Star Wars Stuff —David Eaton
(...) I'd have to agree... also, bear in mind that a Falcon the size of an X-Wing is still a lot bigger than the X-Wing just in terms of pieces, etc., since it's a lot more bulky, and doesn't have real 'wings' or a thin body... But usually, the toy (...) (25 years ago, 7-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: New Star Wars Stuff —Eric Joslin
(...) From what I can tell, the Gungan Sub is *WAY* bigger than it "should" be. eric (25 years ago, 7-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: New Star Wars Stuff —Scott Edward Sanburn
(...) Yes, and the cockpit is one part, not three distinct ones. Good for parts, poor representation of what it was in the movie. :( (25 years ago, 7-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: New Star Wars Stuff —Eric Kingsley
(...) I don't think I would say that. The Gungan Sub is terribly misconfigured as to the version in the Movie which had all 3 characters in one compartment with 2 "Cargo compartments" on either side. I personally think that this model was the 2nd (...) (25 years ago, 7-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: New Star Wars Stuff —Eric Joslin
(...) While that is of course true, it still looks ousized to me. If you take a standard minifig as being ~6 feet tall, and look at how big the model is, and compare it to the sketches in the Episode One Amazing Cut-Aways book... it's huge. Roughly (...)           Re: New Star Wars Stuff —Paul Mison
(...) That would have been an unforgivable error were it not for the fact I like Lego more than Star Wars. Whoops. Maybe I should go back to lurking here and dreaming of grey bricks.... (...) same here :: paul (25 years ago, 7-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Even heftier than you think unless I've missed my guess. (...) Okay, lacking other evidence I'll agree with you there. (...) It's 8 studs I think.          Re: New Star Wars Stuff —Steve Bliss
(...) The mini-fig under Luke's lightsabre is most likely Capt. Solo. Steve (25 years ago, 7-Oct-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)

Re: New Star Wars Stuff —Eric Kingsley
(...) Great stuff. I guess we know know that there will be a Millenium Falcon and probably a Slave I as well seeing the Boba Fett fig. But like everyone else were are the Storm Troopers and the other main Characters like Leia, C-3PO, and Chewie? I (...) (25 years ago, 7-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: New Star Wars Stuff —Daniel Train
Wow! I am like soooooo glad they decided to do a B-wing. Boba Fett looks good. Is it me or is his helmet a bit box shaped? I wonder what sort of head they'll have under it. Han looks like a twit (I still think the Luke minifig looks constapated), (...) (25 years ago, 7-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: New Star Wars Stuff —Steve Bliss
     (...) It's not any worse-shaped than Darth Vader's. (...) I bet they give him a cloth vest. Steve (25 years ago, 7-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) Rebelscum added some enlargements: < (URL) > < (URL) > < (URL) > My thoughts: - Han's parts will really work well as 'generic' minifig parts, in my collection at least. - Boba Fett's helmet is pretty cool, and he has a new backpack! Yay!! - (...) (25 years ago, 8-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)
