Oops! Yep, I meant the 8448, which is the second model this year to

Yes, I really agree with you on that. In this fashion, the oldest of
the "Supercar" wheels, the wheels from 8865

are probably a better fit. They look more like construction vehicle
wheels, and the tyres are thicker.
In fact, I'm not too happy about the latest Supercar wheels, the ones
from

These wheels are very nice for racing cars and so on, but for almost any
other application they are wrong.
My fav wheels are probably the ones from the Barcode Truck and the Black
Cat:

These wheels look very realistic, they are fairly large, and they are
useful for many kinds of vehicles.

(25 years ago, 29-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)
