This is very interesting as I am in Sweden right now and we had this very
conversation (among myself, two of my American co-workers and three of my
Swedish co-workers) this evening at dinner. The general consensus among our
very small sampling is that the Swedes are much more reluctant to enter
their credit card number into a web site for a purchase than the Americans
are. But I think Anders' comment above is worth considering - Americans
seem to be as a whole, much more comfortable buying on credit.
