I am sorry if you thought I was not showing the proper respect to your idea for
a contest but I did not know if you knew another contest was in progress or
not.
Also I did not blindly respond to your message and I did notice that you have
structured the contest differently but the fact is that at the most basic level
these would both be Star Wars Lego building contests. I know you said that you
might expand the contest into other areas in the future but, initially you did
say you wanted to do a Star Wars Lego Contest which at its most basic level is
what Pat is doing.
I don't have a problem with what you are doing in general though and would wish
you luck.
That being said from a personal level I personally don't care about tangible
prizes. I would be more interested in a spiffy logo I could put up on my web
site. I also don't know how I would feel about entry fee's. I would have to
think about that one.
Again I was just trying to help.

I think that if you did something like that, without the entry fees, more people would join. This is (...) (25 years ago, 29-Jul-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)
