-big snip-
The only thing I can think of is goto the link listed below for more
information.
http://www.lego.com/eng/info/default.asp?page=legalnotice
I believe the LEGO lawyers are aware of the problem of people using the company
name LEGO in the domain name. However there is not a big group of LEGO
lawyers that are gonna attack right away. It takes time. They have other BIG
fishes (jaws theme) or other issues to worry about right now. I am not a
lawyer, and I dont know the Danish law or even international law.
Its bad enough (sigh) when I see other fan websites that dont have the respect
for a company name. Even if the website is done by an adult or a child. It
would be nice if some popular websites would update or fix their website.
:-)
LEGO® = correct
LEGO™, LEGO©, lego, legos, LEGOS, LEGO(R), LEGO(C)..and others etc = incorrect
In due time the company will ask nicely please change the domain name or remove
something. I dont think legowiki would be ok.
If you go through all the other LEGO fan sites like FBTB.net, Eurobricks.com,
Brickset.com, mocpages.com, ldraw.com and others... check their link section
to other LEGO fan sites it might give you some ideas. I dont know if that will
help you?
