This morning the rest of my family and I were joking around at the breakfast
table and as usual I managed to pull LEGO into the conversation. I dont
remember all we talked about that followed, but we ended up with a laughing
half-kidding qeution, which was: I wonder just how many couples there are out
there that are happily married and eat-sleep-breath-walk-and-talk LEGO?
So I decided Id ask the worlds largest group of AFOLs just exactly that:
how many of you couples out there live LEGO to its fullest and remain
blissfully married? :)

hey afols!
fyi, my wife jennifer and i are super fans of lego! i own roughly 2 million
pieces, and she own %50 of those by law! i am the avid modeler, she gets most
joy dissassemling torsos and endangering their lives on my 9v train tracks. Our
bathroom has a polar bear motif, so we collaborated to creat an arctic diorama
to display on the toilet tank. to announce our devote love of all things lego, i
was given free reign in designing our wedding cake accessories:) with a wedding
couple and some round fences from TLC, i created a hilltop arch topper, and
classic columns and plates made entirely of lego. between the columns, i placed
a replica of my ford escort station wagon pulling a just married trailer with
her driving and me running behind! Currently im stationed in iraq in support of
Operation Iraqi Freedom. we were wed in october of 2002, and i was deployed
shortly thereafter in January of 2003. when i return, ill post pics of all the
aforementioned. with the help of santa and some fun loving elves, jenn sent me
an awesome carepackage of some of my trains to share with my fellow soldiers for
the holiday, and some special deliveries from the north pole. enjoy my pics
here: http://brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=72582 hopefully i should be
back stateside soon to enjoy a wonderful reunion with my wife and my lego!
