I guess it is a language thing. 'LEGO' already sounds like a proper plural
word in Dutch. In Dutch 'LEGOs' just doesn't sound right, I guess similar to
the word english word 'deer' (I can't really tell but I guess native english
speakers can tell if the word 'deers' would sound weird or not).
In fact, for the Dutch, it's harder to use the word 'LEGO' for a single
brick ("een lego"?) and therefore usually a single LEGO element is referred
to as "brick" (steen) instead of by its' brand name.
