The first line says it all for you folks down under.
WOW, and I thought we had it bad. Yes, the only thing around in volumes is the
blue thingy. It's not half bad, once you do mortgage the house for more than
one of them, and take the instructions, and throw them out the window, (err..
file them carefully in it's own house of sleeves in a binder, because you get
about 40,000 books with it, [sorry, ranting]).  Really though, it isn't as bad
as you think. You could beg someone to buy it for you at cost and ship it to
you,(about $130 US). Or you could mortgage the house and take that Lego
vaction/holiday you've always wanted, and go to Legoland Windsor or Carlsbad,
and go shopping for what you want.

I really am sorry to hear that you folks down in Australia can't get decent
Lego. I've thought about wanting to move there, but not now, not with Lego so
scarce. I'll just stay happy right where I am.

We might even let you in on our secrets to thinking about LOTS of (...) (25 years ago, 9-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general)

Here in Australia, Lego Trains are a joke. Seeing this thread made me register from my Work PC. The newest Offering from Lego (the blue thing that isnt sure of what it is exactly) costs RRP of $350 from Lego themselves, the cheapest I've seen is on (...)
